Why Choose Willele

Engineered for Critical Micro-Spaces

Traditional fire suppression is too bulky for electrical cabinets. We built the QRR0.01G/S to protect where others can’t.

Ultra-Compact Design

Designed specifically for tight spaces like switchgear and battery packs (0.06m³). No piping required—it installs directly inside the hazard source.

10-Year Maintenance-Free

A true “set and forget” solution. Non-pressurized storage means no annual inspections, no pressure gauges to check, and zero maintenance costs for a decade.

Instant Thermal Activation

Detects fire heat automatically at 170°C ±6°C. The solid compound transforms into suppression aerosol in under 6 seconds, stopping fire before it spreads.

Mechanism & Installation

Dual-Action Suppression Technology

Advanced aerosol science works on two fronts simultaneously.

1. Chemical Inhibition

Generates ultra-fine potassium particles (1-5 microns) that bind with fire radicals (H, OH), effectively breaking the combustion chain reaction instantly without depleting oxygen.

2. Physical Cooling

The discharge creates a strong endothermic reaction, absorbing heat from the flame core while blocking thermal radiation to prevent reignition of surrounding components.

Installation Guidelines

Follow these steps for optimal protection (Reference PDF Pg.7)

1

Site Assessment

  • Verify cabinet volume ≤ 0.06m³.
  • Check ambient temp (-50°C to +90°C).
  • Identify optimal mounting spot.
2

Mounting

  • Use screws or industrial adhesive.
  • Ensure thermal element is exposed.
  • Do not obstruct the discharge nozzle.
3

Safety Check

  • Verify Red Indicator is visible.
  • Post warning signage if required.
  • Ensure enclosure is reasonably sealed.

Quality Assurance

ISO 9001 Facility

Manufactured in certified facilities with automated quality checkpoints.

Full Traceability

Unique serial number & batch info on every unit for 10-year tracking.

Stress Tested

Verified performance in high humidity (95%) and extreme temps.

People Also Ask

Common questions about condensed aerosol technology and the QRR0.01G/S series.

Need technical docs? Contact Us →
What is a condensed aerosol fire extinguisher?
It is an automatic fire suppression device that contains a solid chemical compound. Upon thermal activation, this solid transforms into a rapidly expanding aerosol cloud (potassium radicals) that chemically extinguishes the fire without depleting oxygen levels to dangerous lows. It requires no piping or pressurized cylinders.
Is aerosol fire suppression safe for electronics?
Yes. The Willele QRR0.01G/S discharges a non-conductive and non-corrosive aerosol. It is specifically engineered to protect sensitive equipment like server racks, PCBs, and switchgear. Unlike water or dry powder, it does not cause short circuits or collateral damage.
Can aerosol extinguishers be used on lithium-ion battery fires?
Yes. Condensed aerosol is effective at suppressing lithium-ion battery thermal runaway (Class E / specialized hazards) in its early stages. By flooding the battery compartment, it can suppress the fire and lower the temperature, preventing propagation to adjacent cells.
How long do aerosol fire extinguishers last?
The Willele QRR0.01G/S has a service life of 10 years. Unlike traditional extinguishers that need annual recharging, our solid-state technology is stable and maintenance-free for a decade, requiring only simple visual inspections.
Aerosol vs. Gas Suppression: Which is better?
For small enclosures, aerosol is generally superior in cost and ease of installation. Gas systems (like FM-200) require piping and external storage tanks. Aerosol units mount directly inside the hazard area (e.g., inside the electrical cabinet), saving space and eliminating plumbing costs.
How is the system activated?
It uses a standalone thermal detection cord or sensor. When the ambient temperature hits 170°C ±6°C, the solid compound activates automatically. It does not rely on external electricity, ensuring operation even during power failures.
Do aerosol fire extinguishers leave a residue?
The discharge leaves a very fine particulate layer that is minimal compared to dry chemical powder. It can be easily cleaned by ventilation or vacuuming. It is non-corrosive, so it won’t damage equipment if not cleaned immediately, but standard cleanup is recommended.
Can I install this in a vehicle engine bay?
Absolutely. The QRR0.01G/S withstands temperatures from -50°C to +90°C and is vibration-resistant. It is widely used in cars, buses, and heavy machinery to protect engine compartments and fuel lines.
Is the aerosol toxic to humans?
The aerosol is considered non-toxic for short-term exposure, but it reduces visibility and oxygen levels slightly. It is designed for unoccupied spaces (like inside cabinets) or areas that can be evacuated. Always ventilate the area after discharge before re-entry.
Is it environmentally friendly?
Yes. Our aerosol technology has Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and Zero Global Warming Potential (GWP). It is a green, sustainable alternative to Halon and HFC-based suppressants.
