Plastic Wall Plug — Nylon Expansion Anchor for Masonry & Concrete
Injection-molded plastic wall plug (PE/nylon) with split expansion and anti-rotation ribs for secure fixing.
Reliable anchoring in concrete, solid brick, and dense block; clean, flush collar for neat finishes.
Works with common wood and chipboard screws; choose drill size per plastic wall plug spec table.
Installer-friendly packs (typically 100 pcs/bag); grey or white standard, other colors on request.
Overview
This nylon expansion anchor delivers strong holding power in solid substrates. The ribbed body prevents
spinning, while the split expansion zone grips the hole wall as the screw advances. A flared collar helps position the plug
and protects the surface. Typical applications include cabinets, brackets, trunking, signage and light fixtures.
Key Features
- Material: PE/PA (nylon) with robust molding for consistent expansion.
- Anti-rotation geometry: external ribs lock the plug and prevent spinning during installation.
- Split expansion for reliable load transfer and stable pull-out resistance.
- Works with common wood screws or chipboard screws; see size table for guidance.
- Colors: grey and white as standard (custom colors available on request).
- Packed for installers: typically 100 pcs/bag.
Method of Use
- Drill a hole to the specified d diameter and depth corresponding to the selected plug.
- Tap the plastic wall plug flush with a soft mallet; align the collar with the surface.
- Insert the screw and tighten clockwise until the head is seated; do not overtighten.
- Suitable substrates: concrete, solid brick, block, natural stone (not for aerated concrete unless pre-tested).

Applications
- Electrical conduits, trunking, junction boxes and cable clips.
- Cabinetry, shelves, signage, brackets and general interior fixing.
- Light mechanical fixtures into concrete, solid brick and block.
FAQ
What drill size should I use for each plastic wall plug?
Use the table’s d value as the drill diameter. Drill straight, clean the dust, then insert the plug flush before driving the screw.
Can these nylon expansion anchors be used in hollow walls?
They are intended for solid substrates. For hollow brick or plasterboard, use cavity anchors or toggle types designed for hollow materials.
