Installation
- Strip conductors to the required length; keep strands neat and even.
- Insert wires fully into the connector until they bottom out.
- Crimp the inner sleeve with a suitable crimp tool for the indicated size.
- Verify by a pull test on each conductor; reinsulate if required by code.
FAQ
Do closed end wire connectors require a crimp tool?
Yes. These connectors must be crimped to secure the wires to the internal copper sleeve.
Are they waterproof?
No. They are insulated but not sealed. For sealed joints, use your waterproof wire nut series.
Can they be reused?
No. Once crimped, they are considered permanent and should not be reused.
Which conductors are recommended?
Use copper conductors that match the size range listed for each model.
