WLE1040 is our heavy-duty silicone filled waterproof wire nut for demanding outdoor jobs and multi-conductor splices. The large shell (Ø20.5 × 41 mm) provides high tightening torque and extra sealant volume. During installation, the neutral silicone wets the copper and fills voids to create a continuous moisture barrier, delivering long-term protection in wet or corrosive environments.

Installation (Copper/Copper)
- Strip per gauge; keep strands neat and free of nicks.
- Align conductors parallel with even tips; do not pre-twist.
- Twist-on the WLE1040 until firm resistance; silicone will flow to seal the splice.
- Pull test each conductor; re-terminate if any movement is detected.
- Enclose the splice inside a suitable junction box; avoid sharp edges contacting the shell.
