FAQ
When should I choose 316 for coated stainless steel cable ties?
Use 316 in chloride-rich/marine areas; 304 suits most industrial sites. The coating adds an extra barrier against abrasion and corrosion.
What’s the temperature limit of these plastic coated stainless steel cable ties?
Typical application range is −60 °C to +150 °C depending on coating. The stainless core withstands higher temperatures, but follow the coating rating.
Do I need a special tool?
Hand install is possible; a stainless tie tension/cut-off tool ensures consistent clamp force and flush cutting, recommended for 10–15 mm widths.
