Overview — DTL-1 Bimetal Cable Lugs

The DTL-1 Series are friction-welded bimetal cable lugs designed to connect
aluminium conductors to copper busbars or studs. The barrel is high-conductivity
aluminium (L3) and the palm is copper (T2); the solid-phase weld ensures excellent electrical performance, strong
mechanical integrity and resistance to galvanic corrosion.

Installation Notes

  1. Use with aluminium conductors and copper termination hardware.
  2. Brush aluminium strands clean and use oxide-inhibiting compound before insertion.
  3. Crimp with matched dies along the barrel; mount with the specified stud size (Φ) and torque.
