Overview — DTL-2F flat palm bimetal lug
The DTL-2F Series are flat palm bimetal lug (Cu–Al) designed to connect
aluminium conductors to copper busbars or studs. The aluminium barrel (L3) is
friction-welded to a copper palm (T2), ensuring excellent electrical performance, strong mechanical integrity and
resistance to galvanic corrosion. The flat palm profile provides a larger contact area with a low
overall height—ideal for compact panels, MCCs and switchgear.

Installation Notes
- Prepare aluminium strands (brush & apply oxide-inhibiting compound) before insertion.
- Crimp along the barrel with the specified hex/compression dies to rated pull-out.
- Mount to the copper bus/stud with the specified Φ hole size and the correct torque.
- Seal the joint (heat-shrink/insulation) to meet the site’s environmental class.
