Overview of Nylon Fully Insulated Quick Disconnect Terminals
The FDFN / MDFN Series nylon fully insulated quick disconnect terminals provide touch-safe, vibration-resistant
plug-and-play connections. FDFN denotes the fully insulated female disconnect and MDFN the fully
insulated male disconnect. Each pair mates on a 6.35 mm tab and the translucent nylon body fully covers the crimp barrel and
tongue. These nylon fully insulated quick disconnect terminals are rated up to 105 °C / 600 V.
- Wire ranges: 22–16 AWG (0.5–1.5 mm²), 16–14 AWG (1.5–2.5 mm²), 12–10 AWG (4–6 mm²).
- Current groups: 10 A · 15 A · 24 A (by section).
- Materials: Tin-plated copper terminals, tough nylon insulation; color coding: red / blue / yellow.
- Application: panels, appliances, HVAC, and automotive harnesses needing right-angle, safe mating.
