Overview — GLB Aluminium Compression Joint Tube
The GLB series is a straight aluminium compression joint tube
(butt splice) used to permanently join two aluminium conductors in line.
The tube provides a smooth inner bore and bevelled entry to ease insertion and
achieve a full-length, high-strength crimp with low electrical resistance.

Installation Notes
- Use the correct die set and crimp sequence for each conductor size.
- Clean conductor strands and apply oxide-inhibiting compound before insertion.
- Make full-length compressions; mark and verify with go/no-go gauge when applicable.
- For Cu–Al transitions, use a designated bimetal joint instead of GLB.
